I remember seeing a headset for the Nintendo DS, and it had pictures or Pokemon Diamond and Pearl on them, so can you voice chat in the game? If you can, is it only with friends?Is there voice chat on the online Pokemon games?
yes you can talk with your friends online in pokemon diamond and pearl. But you have to regester them with your penpal, and in the wifi room downstairs in the pokemon center.
No offence but I wouldnt buy a mic just for that :/
I would suggest using your phone and playing with them, unless thats to much to ask.

you voice chat when u get in the wifi room downstairs of the pokecenter and yes with frenns u register in yur pal pad. and u can use the mic on the ds to to chat
