i believe you have to get the National Dex for both of the games you are using to trade. Why do people like pokemon games so much?
I mean, if you just use your starter pokemon, he'll level up way past every other pokemon you ever have to face. Theres no real challenge in the game; mostly you just wander around, exp-share leveling your pokemon or looking for some rare pokemon. It seems to me that everyone is really glad about the new games. The pokemon are all weak and even though the graphics are getting so much hype, i feel that all the camera angles are awkward and headache-inducing.Is there anyone who isn't happy with the new pokemon games?
The battle scenes are pixelated when they have to technologie to prevent that. I guess they did that out of impulse to keep the feel of the old games. The majority of the Pok茅mon are weak but you can trade with people across the world with WIFI for stronger pok茅mon from previous games and such. The camera angles give a more urban or futuristic feel which makes the game seem more up to date. And the only thing I don't care for is Team Plasma showing up EVERYWHERE.Is there anyone who isn't happy with the new pokemon games?

Absolutely. The Graphics are better than the other games combined. But wait until Pokemon: Platinum comes out ( I don't know when) But the others are about just like it.

Depending on whether you have SoulSilver/Heart Gold or Emerald the difficulty may vary.
If you don't already EV train, do realize that it's a VITAL component into making sure your Pokemon beats out everyone else at Battle Frontier. If I recall correctly, all of the Pokemon at Frontier are EV'ed trained meaning that your normal Pokemon will not stand a chance if their EV's are distributed badly. Make sure the natures are right and everything.
When you're going for the Gold Medals, abuse every Pokemon you can get in. In competitive battling as you may know, Garchomp's banned - make good use of Garchomp. Garchomp is a beast with Earthquake, Swords Dance, Outrage yadayaya you get the picture. He'll kill there.
You should also keep in mind other Pokemon to use and abuse such as Latias/Latios on the line of the uber status they too also are devastating foes to go up against.
Generally speaking, if you stick to using Pokemon in the OU tier and adjust around accordingly you will find the Battle Frontier to hold little trouble. If you're *really* looking for the easiest way to get to the top just stalk around websites like smogon.com and look at their teams for certain battle facilities these people hold records WAY beyond the gold symbol area.

Mew is a developed character in the game so he was put there on purpose by somebody. But I read when nintendo found this out they removed the glitch in newer pokemon games.

Yes, I used the glitch once and when I play again when I get all male Pokemon on Red, Blue, and Yellow as they were in the anime and are always programmed into the game, don't know about the manga though as the games imitate mostly the anime, I will perform it again. You do not battle the Youngster with the Slowpoke on Route 25. He has a Special of 17 always and you need to avoid the gambler and get a Pokemon with Fly and then fly to Cerulean City. Walk up to Route 25 and let the young trainer walk up to you. Don't try to talk to him or walk directly in front or the game will freeze and then after you win fly back to Lavender Town and then you're start button should work when you attempt to walk down Route 8 again, exit it out and Mew should appear.Do you remember the "mew glitch" for the old red and blue pokemon games?

I've heard rumors about a third game starring Kyurem as the version mascot. The Japanese title is forosuto gurei which literally translates as "frost gray" after the version mascot's secondary type. Supposedly certain pokemon will be exclusive to the version of the game released in the country that their designer is from in an attempt to encourage international trade, so the English-language version will probably have Golett, Golurk, Vullaby, Vanillite, Vanillish, and Vanilluxe. No, because in the same way that there is 2 sides to everything, there cannot be a third. Like the forces of good %26amp; evil, the yin %26amp; the yang, so Black %26amp; White cannot possibly have another third game. There is a high possibility that a third game is in the works given how the Black and White ended.
I suspect that you will be able to face N and Ghetsis again and get the other legendary not available in the individual versions.
To what the other poster said--that there is only black and white...yin and yang. That is not true. There are always shades of gray (see what I did there..Black/White..Gray 0_o). That is what we learned from fighting N in the game. He was brought up to learn only one way of thinking but in the end, he had a sort of change of heart and was able to see the hero (you) side of the story.
The only constraint that might put a halt to a third game is whether or not Nintendo will create the game for Nintendo 3DS (to push more hardware) or release it for the DS. If it is for the 3DS, it would be a great reason to buy one (You know Nintendo is thinking about it since Pokemon sells like hotcakes).
There has not been any "official" news from Nintendo/Game Freak about a 3rd game, but since they always make a 3rd game for each gen/color version, the chances for a 3rd game is high

No, because in the same way that there is 2 sides to everything, there cannot be a third. Like the forces of good %26amp; evil, the yin %26amp; the yang, so Black %26amp; White cannot possibly have another third game. There is a high possibility that a third game is in the works given how the Black and White ended.
I suspect that you will be able to face N and Ghetsis again and get the other legendary not available in the individual versions.
To what the other poster said--that there is only black and white...yin and yang. That is not true. There are always shades of gray (see what I did there..Black/White..Gray 0_o). That is what we learned from fighting N in the game. He was brought up to learn only one way of thinking but in the end, he had a sort of change of heart and was able to see the hero (you) side of the story.
The only constraint that might put a halt to a third game is whether or not Nintendo will create the game for Nintendo 3DS (to push more hardware) or release it for the DS. If it is for the 3DS, it would be a great reason to buy one (You know Nintendo is thinking about it since Pokemon sells like hotcakes).
There has not been any "official" news from Nintendo/Game Freak about a 3rd game, but since they always make a 3rd game for each gen/color version, the chances for a 3rd game is high

Hi my ds broke, so I was planning on taking my friends ds to GameStop for the event and getting the Pokemon on my game and then on his game too. Only problem is I think I tried trading to more then one game with the same event before at another event, and it wouldn't work. I think it's because it's the same ds.

Even with the modern advances in video game technology, such as the PS3 and the XBOX360. (I have a PS3) And their highly graphical games and engaging gameplay.....I always find myself reverting back to the old school, square cartridge pokemon games. Then, I get hooked on that pokemon game and cant stop playing until i complete it!

My pokemon games on my r4 all keep freezing?
I have pokemon platinum which freezes right after i enter the battle with cyrus, and pokemon heart gold and soul silver keep blacking out and freezing. Should I just buy the game, or is there a website to fix this?My pokemon games on my r4 all keep freezing?
I know these games have issues with certain nds flash cards... the r4 ds card being one of them.. however, if you go to http://www.modchipstore.com and go to their downloads section, you can find a firmware called Wood R4, they have the newest version online there which will fix any freezing issues with the newer games... Alternately, you can also get an acekard 2i which will work as well.
Don't give up. The issue is not with the game, or the nds flash card itself, it's just with the actual firmware on the card. Once you have that updated you should be good to go again.

You can also see guaranteed shiny pokemon in the trainer tower in firered, and leafgreen. the ones I can think of are: The twins on double challenge, battle 1, The fisherman in single challenge ( can't remember which battle ), and the burglar in single challenge ( again I can't remember which battle.) They carry a shiny Espeon, Seaking, and Meowth receptively.

I don't think that Pokemon is as fun as it use to be. I think that the quality of the games started to go down after the third generation (excluding Heartgold and Soulsilver because those were awesome remakes). I thought that the forth and fifth generations were just horrible, the Pokemon were cheap looking and the plot is the same as the rest of the games. What really bugs me is their lack of innovation in the games. Though the games are fun with their simple game play I think that they need to throw something new into the new games to shake it up a bit. They need to take chances and step out of the safe zone for once.Do you still think the Pokemon Games Fun or are you already Bored with it ?

Go to bulbapedia.com and type for Pokemon Heartgold. They would show you a list of unobtainable pokemon. You dont have to buy diamond or any other versions. You just have to go to the global trading center and see who is trading that specific pokemon or you could trade from your friends as well.What pokemon games do i need to finish heartgold's pokedex?
I know that you need either pokemon diamond, pearl, or platinum. (i would recomend platinum)

I think the gameboy and gameboy color games would go for about $5 each. The gameboy advance games might sell for $10 to $15 . The gameboy advance would probably get you $35 to $50 at most.

i can say that if u have a charazard pokemon card, it sales for 100$ for authentic cards.
