I'm going to be buying a DSi soon and to be honest the only games I'm interested in getting are pokemon. Also if you know of some up-coming pokemon games and their release dates that would also be great.Does anyone have a list of all the pokemon games to be released on DS?

Imo Black and White were the best. In pokemon games each sequel just rehashes the same themes, adds some new pokemon and features and that's about it. Black and White however have a neat storyline that isn't in the previous ones. Top that off with updated graphics, the pokemon dreamworld a plush online battle system for the wifi and it is pretty nice play indeed. If you don't care much for the online play/story I would go with Heartgold/Soulsilver remakes.

I do not care whether or not it is in 3D, I just want to know if any older games (Fire Red and Leaf Green and older) will be available for download on the 3DS. I love the games, but the cartridges are temperamental and are starting to break (just because it's older technology).

Hmm...this is an interesting question.
All Pok茅mon can be the best in the way that they are trained and what kind of moves they learn.
For the best Water-type, I believe that there are 3 that really stand out.
Gyarados-
As a physical attacker, Gyarados has a very high Attack as far as water Pok茅mon go. Teaching it Water-type moves that have an attack stat, such as Aqua Tail or Ice Fang, will make Gyarados very powerful.
Milotic-
As a special attacker, Milotic has a high Special Attack as well as a very high Special Defence. Special type moves like Hydro Pump or Surf will take great advantage of its high Special Attack.
Blastoise-
This Pok茅mon happens to be very powerful in both Attack and Special Attack, as well as having a high Defence and Special Defence. Not to mention that Blastoise can learn a wide variety of moves that it can use almost against any foe.Pokemon games???????????????????

He is a pretty good Physical attacker and still have decent special attack. Can easily be used as a starter since people almost never put grass pokes at start.
There are too many good strategies to tell with him.

You do not need to restart the game. That won't solve the problem if the battery is dry. If you are seeing this message on Ru/Sa only, you need to patch your game (there was a bug in Ru/Sa). You can send the carts to Nintendo or link them to FR/LG/Em. Any game with the "Berry Patch" will fix Ru/Sa.

You do not need to restart the game. That won't solve the problem if the battery is dry. If you are seeing this message on Ru/Sa only, you need to patch your game (there was a bug in Ru/Sa). You can send the carts to Nintendo or link them to FR/LG/Em. Any game with the "Berry Patch" will fix Ru/Sa.

How much will I get for all these Pokemon Games?
I got 4 Pokemon Games I never played, sealed and are in Near-Mint Condition. Just that all of them at the bottom right corner is a little dented.

Why do people love Pokemon games so much?
Theres a new pokemon game like every year. And it always sells in the millions. Why do people love these games? I am a gamer and love video games, but never played a Pokemon game like Pokemon Black or Pokemon Emerald, but when I se gameplays, i dont find that I am missing much.Why do people love Pokemon games so much?
In all fairness they realease a proper game every five years, they make remakes inbetween them and an ultimatum version after that (Just good business sense).
But to answer why there good;
~ They are really long games
~ You personally build up your own team and thus the game becomes personal.
~ The plots aren't all that bad (Black/White had a very good story IMO)
~ Great gameplay mechanics
~ Online is great since it's your personal team battling
It's worth checking out black and white, I think a lot of people get put off either by how childish it looks, the fact they ahve never playe done or the amount of pokemon in the game now (In black and white, there are only 151 for the majority of the game)

The games are long, the multiplayer is fun and simple enough for anyone to play. The plot is something they make you to want to complete so you can catch the rare one of a kind Pokemon. The game has so many Pokemon and things to do, people to battle. You'll be immersed in it for hours, and since 90% of all Pokemon games are on A Gameboy or Nintendo DS of some sort, you can take it on the go,. That portability allows you to chew away countless hours of boring car and plane rides, thus having addiction set in.
All of this together is a cocktail of success for the companies that profit off these games. And a cocktail of enjoyment for the kids who play this, and the parents who only hear quiet clicking away from a gaming device when they look at their kid.Why do people love Pokemon games so much?

If they don't have the titles you want, go online and try places such as eBay.com, Amazon.com, Half.com, and BarnesandNoble.com. I often use eBay and Amazon -- but be careful! Check out the seller's feedback ratings before you buy, and see what their return policy is! I recently bought a bunch of the old Pokemon GBA games from eBay and Amazon, and had problems with only one of the sellers.

And none of these games fit the criteria that you are looking for but Pokemon Rumble and Pikachu's Adventure are really good and as for any games like Pokemon Coliseum and Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness coming out for the Wii don't count on it because if it was going to come out it probably would have come out by now but you never know maybe 2011 or 2012 will bring something good.

well dungeon games are more mystery solving while trainer games are beat the bad guy type so if your older than 8 then i recommend dungeon games also you get to play as a pokemon in the dungeon games

I want to get a game boy to play the old Pokemon games and my brother wants to get rid of his game boy and give it to me but the L button on his is broken. In Diamond and SoulSilver you can use the Pal Parks! And in White you use the poketransfer lab. Except you can't directly transfer the gba pokemon to white. It depends on what old games you have exactly played to make it so it's good or not. It has a lot of interesting bells-and-jingles. However, you shouldn't be daunted at how slow the walking speed of the game is. The Fourth Generation Pokemon...for me, some of them are a hit-and-miss. I don't like Bidoof, but I definitely like Spiritomb, to name some. If you played RSE, you'll see how fast the battle transitions go, so that's good. The difference between Diamond to Pearl is the Legendary and some of the exclusive Pokemon. That's it. And oh, the best price is probably 129.99, unless you're buying a used DS, which should cost less.

If you have a friend who has one of the two games (Pearl or Diamond), you should get the other one. Other than that, there isn't much difference between the two games, but it seems like most of the people who are posting answers on Yahoo Questions seem to have Diamond. I have pearl, which is great, because it has a few Pokemon that are not on Diamond, and I can trade with all the Diamond players.
As far as the game goes, I don't think the Pokemon games are particularly exciting. They are all pretty much the same set up, and there isn't much new in Pearl than there was in any of the other games. You still collect berries, can compete in contests, finish the game by battling the Elite 4, and obtain the National Pokedex after you've seen all 151 Pokemon in Sinnoh. You defeat 8 trainers to obtain badges. Same old, same old. The only new thing really is the new Pokemon.bourjois

If you have a friend who has one of the two games (Pearl or Diamond), you should get the other one. Other than that, there isn't much difference between the two games, but it seems like most of the people who are posting answers on Yahoo Questions seem to have Diamond. I have pearl, which is great, because it has a few Pokemon that are not on Diamond, and I can trade with all the Diamond players.
As far as the game goes, I don't think the Pokemon games are particularly exciting. They are all pretty much the same set up, and there isn't much new in Pearl than there was in any of the other games. You still collect berries, can compete in contests, finish the game by battling the Elite 4, and obtain the National Pokedex after you've seen all 151 Pokemon in Sinnoh. You defeat 8 trainers to obtain badges. Same old, same old. The only new thing really is the new Pokemon.

E-bay actually sells the GBA games for a very low price. I actually just bid on an unlocked GBA Emerald version for six dollars. There are also "lots" of GBA games. When I say "lots", I don't mean lots as in many, I mean that somebody will ship you Emerald, Saphire, Ruby, Leaf Green, etc. altogether for sixteen dollars.Where can i get the old pokemon games for gb?

One word for you: Gamestop. I always go there for the cartridges. But, if you want to play them for free online, with the ability to save, go to Vizzed Board! I've been a member since New years eve, and the games aree FREE!!! Everything from NES up to GBA. Not the Dreamcast or PS1, though. Anyway, go check it out, it really is a good place for free retro games.

Game stop is the perfect place to get GBA games. I have Sapphire and it's cool. It's used, yes, but it still works like it's new. They also ask if you want to pay extra for insurance, just in case the game messes up and you wanna take it back for a new one.
you can get any pokemon game to play on ur computer, just look for the progam to run it, everything is the same, and same basic control's u can assign keys to be whichever buttons you like
One word: Gamestop! The only problem is that the pokemon GBA games are around 20.00 but maybe ebay sells them cheap. I once saw heartgold version on there for around 4.00~! So try checking.
Amazon would probably be your best bet.

Gamestop is over-priced because no one buys old games any more so they have to make as much money as they can off those.

try gamestop, they've never failed me. i find most of my cheap stuff there. Also try any nearest store actually, you never know you might find something.
