Is it worth buying a DS to play pokemon games instead of playing roms?

I am thinking of buying a DS to play soulsilver on March 14, but is it worth using a DS instead of playing on a emulater? I played all other pokemon games on emulater.Is it worth buying a DS to play pokemon games instead of playing roms?
You can go get IDEAS for ds games. If you really like it, get a DS because you can't carry one whole computer around. HUH
i recomend the dsi its much better and you can use wifi and if you get bored when youre out you can turn youre truesty dsi on and play till youre hearts content i love my dsi and will allways recomend itIs it worth buying a DS to play pokemon games instead of playing roms?
emulator is better cos its free ,faster, also you can have more save files.

Being able to trade pokemon and battle others is a good option to have open, so I recommend DS.
