Will the value of Pokemon games increase in the future?

Will games like Pokemon Blue, Red, Silver, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald increase in value in the future? Are they something that collectors will want in the future? How far into the future would it be that these games become worth something? Is it better to just sell them now, or should I wait many years?Will the value of Pokemon games increase in the future?
The gen 1 and 2 ones no, but the gen 3 on yes. Because after gen 3 (ruby, sapphire, and emerald) they made them backwards compatible. They will increase in value until they remake it.

i would recommend to wait for years because every item has its price and pokemon is one of the many collectibles that will be very expensive.
