i believe you have to get the National Dex for both of the games you are using to trade. Like if you were trading a squirtle for a mudkip, you would need to get the national dex because there is no entry for squirtle in Hoenn and mudkip for Kanto.When I try to trade pokemon between games it says that they cant trade with far off regions?

Diamond. There are some pokemon that you could only catch in pearl like Speal when you get national dex but you could catch seel in national dex too. Bonsly is only in one of them and so is Mime Jr. It depends on the legendary though. I like Dialga.
Well. There is Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl (are the same) and Pokemon Platinum (the newest). I don't know more.

Pokemon Ranger and Mytery Dungeon thingy麓s are bad. Diamond and Pearl are the best. I like Diamond the best because of the pok茅mon, and I like Dialga better than Palkia.

The only difference is the legendary and some pokemon..

As above but there are two Pokemon Ranger games and also 4 i think Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Games (Blue, Red, Dawn and Dusk or something like that.



I reckon for use of the stylus Pokemon Ranger is one of the best games. Its a lot more interactive.

Why do people like pokemon games so much?

I mean, if you just use your starter pokemon, he'll level up way past every other pokemon you ever have to face. Theres no real challenge in the game; mostly you just wander around, exp-share leveling your pokemon or looking for some rare pokemon. first of all you cant just use your starter. even if its high leveled there is type ratio. if you chose a grass starter there are at least 4 types that are super effective against it. and people find it fun just because they like pokemon

I know what you're getting at: in Firered/Leafgreen, the boy Red was for Firered, while the girl Leaf was in Leafgreen. In HGSS's intro, it shows the boy with the silver background, near the end, and the girl with gold. However, I consider Ethan to be Heartgold, while Lyra is with Soulsilver because:



1) Originally, I believe the only-playable boy character was called "Gold" and his rival "Silver." (The girl introduced as playable in Crystal was "Krystal.")

2) The pokemon special manga calls the boy "Gold."

3) Ethan has gold/yellow in his cap, whereas Lyra has none, instead a pure white-colored (silver) hat. Ethan wears more red (Ho-oh), while Lyra wears slightly more blue than red (Lugia.)
