I haven't played a Pokemon game since I was a kid (Yellow, Silver, etc), but I read fancomics about the games (Nuzlockes and others). A lot of the comics act like there are romanceable characters in the newer games (Ruby, SoulSilver, HeartGold, FireRed, etc).
Do the games actually have that in them now or is that just something people do for their fancomics?Is there any romance in Pokemon gameboy games?

You're playing a game intended for 12 year olds killing other people's Pokemon. There isn't much romance. It's all fancomics.
