What is the point of the natures of pokemon in the games?

I've always wondered why it adds the detail of nature in the pokemon games. What is the point of it exactly?|||As it is, the first two Generation of pokemon didn't have nature. In it People were unsure of how good or bad their pokemon may become. Their stats were randomly strengthened. They added natures into the Generaton III, for those it might have been to actually give characteristics to a pokemon. Make them more then just bits of data that fight. Though in it, each nature has their own way of working. In it, it created the way to figure out if a pokemon was good to battle with or not, it shows how they grow and how they will be. Though with it, people became more concious on getting a good pokemon instead of training them to be good pokemon.|||To clarify, a Pok茅mon with a certain nature will have one of its stats increased by 10% and another lowered by 10% by the time all stats reach their max. There are also five natures that are neutral, they don't raise or lower any stat.|||Nature Increased stat Decreased stat Favorite flavor Disliked flavor

How much should i be able to get for these pokemon games on ebay?

I want to sell pokemon xd, colosseum, and the colosseum bonus disk.

All the games are without original cases and without instructions.

How much should i be asking for all of the games together?|||prob. 5 dollars|||You'd be lucky to get $20 for all of them.|||depends on the person

if u wanna play a cool game world of warcraft 3.3.2 come to http://www.wowoptimus.com/news.php nice server|||Consider this, it isn't really a question about how to find wholesale stuff to sell but more of a question of finding items THAT sell. There are tons of people who have tried to sell items they bought wholesale on Ebay and end up with only a few clicks/views. There is a trick that Power Sellers use to find the "Hot Items". "Hot Items" are those that get alot of views which therefore get alot of buys.

Are the older Pokemon games available for download on the 3DS?

I love the old pokemon games (everything up to and including Fire Red and Leaf Green) but the cartridges are getting old and unreliable. I am getting a 3DS soon and it would be great if these games are available for download on the 3DS now or will be available in the future. If you know, please let me know.

Thank you!|||They will be making a lot of the Game Boy Advance Games into 3D Classics.

But first they are making Sega Gamegear Games into 3D Classics.

Like Sonic 1 %26amp; 2.

So during 2012 or 2013 for Pokemon.

And they already made Kirby's Adventure's into a 3D Classic (which I Believe use to be a Game Boy game).|||They will not be available.|||Yup, they're coming out. The manufacturer said up to 2 years though. =(

Is it wrong to enjoy playing Pokemon games at an older age?

I sometimes feel like it's wrong that I still get enjoyment out of playing Pokemon games, but I still get the same feeling I do when I first played my Pokemon Blue version on Gameboy Color...|||I do not get feelings of nosalgia much but they do happen. To me its a tactical thing, everything needing to be planned out. I have to wonder if B/W will induce the same feeling. Because D/P did but ruby did not as it was flawed.

Only the people who don't play it think there is issuewith older people liking it. A large portion of the fanbase comprises of veterans. That or people who got out of it back in 1999 when johto came out and it got to complicated for them. It's not wrong, your only made to feel that by fuckballs who can't stand people are still into it and don't share the same interests.

As far as haters go, **** them. The sad part is I'm probably older than the people who try to insult me when it comes to this issue. Most players are closet players fearful of ridicule and therefore more easily victimized by assholes.

I don't get much hate here anymore being an older veteran. Even on the rare occasion I have to ask a pokemon question. Those that have tried have no idea who they are dealing with when they try to make petty insults at me.|||I don't think there's anything wrong with enjoying any kind of game at any age, including video games or Pokemon.

The problems come when playing games (or surfing the net, or doing any hobby, really) interferes with regular life. If you forget to eat or never hang out with friends because of your hobby, then you possibly have a problem and should rethink how much time you spend doing those things.

But, playing games at an older age is certainly not unethical in any way.|||Alot of people play Pokemon is for everyone that's what makes it wonderful I think that you should keep playing I have seen people in there 40s play and I am going to play till I am dead|||pokemon is for everyone, it doesnt matter if u play it even if ur old. I ve seen 30 year old people playing it and i m 13 but i stil play it.|||There's a reason its rated E because its for EVERYONE. You really shouldn't feel wrong about playing it. Im 16 and i'll always play Pokemon.|||there is nothing wrong playing pokemon, I still play it. Is pokemon Diamond and Pearl good compared to the old pokemon games?

I loved the old pokemon games and show but as of late both have gone by the wayside (especially the show) And I was wondering if there are any long time pokemon fans out there that have an opinion on the new game?|||Yeah man, ive been playing since R/B/Y and i still love it. It's great because all the original pokemon from those games are in these ones, plus some new ones for a total of 493 pokemon. theres all new attacks and moves and the pokemon sprites are animated too!|||diamond a pearl look more 3d with the buildings there are gts features and wi-fi wich is really good|||diamond is really good compared to the old games

How can I play Pokemon games on my PC?

I've heard of people playing Pokemon and other non PC games on their computers but I have no idea how to do this. I would love to be able to play all the pokemon games. Can anyone help me out? It would be highly appreciated.|||nope|||Like Jevon says, you need to download an emulator which will function as the game console. So pick your console, and get a GameBoy or GBA emulator, or a Nintendo64 emulator.

There are DS emulators out there, but they do not work very well, thanks to the touch screen. Most commercial game will run slowly and with a lot of glitches.

Then you needs ROMs, which is all the data from the actual game cartridge.

Knowing specifically what game you want and what system it's for will greatly help you in googling for the correct software.|||If you want to play GBA and GBC games, download the VisualBoyAdvance emulator from a site like this ( http://visualboyadvance.en.softonic.com/ ) and search online to find the ROMs ( game data) of the games you want. I've found that VisualBoyAdvance is safe and won't take up too much space on your computer. There are other emulators out for DS games, but I haven't used any -- I don't think it would work as well without a touchscreen.|||use a vba just google search it

if you you want to do it llegally go to vizzed .com make an acount and download and install the

piugin use web site bellow|||get emulators by going to google and typing in free emulators then downloading after that get roms from coolroms and download them. make sure the rom and emulator are compatible .|||using emulators but that's illegal

and the game play ain't that good at times

so might as well buy the original one|||um, don't u think it'll be kinda illegal? unless your willing to buy the game for ur pc off the internet

Is there a difference between Pokemon games based on their color?

So I am asking my parents for a Gameboy color for Christmas and I want a Pokemon game too. I have never played Pokemon before and I don't understand why there are so many different games that are named by colors? ( Like the gold version, Silver version, Pearl version, Black, White, Yellow, etc.) Is there a difference between the games based or are they all the same just different names? And if so which one is the best to get?|||Yes there is. Usually there are a couple of different Pokemon in the Two or Three version of the same region. If you're getting a Gameboy Color, I recommend getting either Pokemon yellow, or Gold. Yellow is the one where Pikachu follows you and it's all chubby :3. And gold.... It's just my favorite since it's the first one I played ^____^|||Yes, they're all different.

The games with the names that "match" like black and white are of a different generation than say diamond and pearl. Basically, the games that are of the same generation only have minor differences - for example, Black has only a couple of different Pokemon that White doesn't have and it also has a unique city (likewise, White has a couple of unique Pokemon and a unique area). Other than that, they are completely the same.

But generations are quite different. Generations have different regions and Pokemon from other generations, not to mention different main characters and enemies. For example, in the games Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum you're traveling in the Sinnoh region; but if you buy Gold, Silver, or Crystal, then you're in the Johto region. There is also different Pokemon between the two. Here's a list of the generations:

1 - Red/Blue/Yellow

2 - Gold/Silver/Crystal

3 - Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald

4 - Diamond/Pearl/Platinum

5 - Black/White

Also, generation 5 has the most Pokemon because you are able to catch the Pokemon of all the generations before it. Because Red and Blue and Yellow were the first made, they only hold 1st generation Pokemon (the first 150 Pokemon ever made.) I believe the Gameboy color only plays Generation 1 and 2 games, so I would suggest getting Crystal. It's honestly one of my favorite games.|||The games are all part of different Generations. For instance; Red, Blue, and Yellow are all first Generation, Gold and Silver are the second. There are certain Pokemon that are only available in Blue, and not in Red, Gold and not silver, and etc. The creators did this on purpose so that way, you either had to own both copies of that generation, or trade with other people with the Link Cable, to complete your Pokedex and get all 150 Pokemon. So, if you only have one color of that specific generation, you can't ever get every single Pokemon. I recommend having a friend get the opposite color as you, and getting a Link Cable to trade!

P.s. Someone will still have to play the game twice in order to get the 3rd starter xD|||They come out in pairs. the color difference is exclusive Pokemon

How can i make pokemon games better?

ok my sister was playing a pokemon game and i watched her play it. i've seen the show befor and the game can be a whole lot better. so i want to create a better cooler and more attractive pokemon game(not saying that the games out now are really bad) but i really dont know how and want nintendos help since they have created the preveouis ones.can anyone give me advise or if you work for Nintendo or the pokemon company consider my idea. what sould i do?|||u should study the games then at a store like target,wal-mart,ect. buy a gameshark or action replay and buy a computer rom disk illegily and do it. any way it is illegel and dont do it

Why Pokemon Games gets extremely boring after you beat the main story of the game?

Every Pokemon Games I played are like that and Nintendo doesn't give you lot to do after beat the main story of the game and they get very old , stale , dull , bland , and boring after you beat it and the replay value for the game isn't there if you know what I mean .|||Because children don't like being lost with nothing to do.|||After you beat the main story in the main games, it is true it gets bland. The only thing to do is catch them all. If you want one that does have something good to do after the main story ends though, try the pokemon explorer or ranger games. They do still have things of some interest to do afterwards, and the games themselves are good(in my opinion).|||Black and white all they give you is to search for the the 7 sages that where with ghetsis its very boring they dont even let you fight them same thing with those ninja people they show up one time after that you dont get to battle them and they give you the three orbs and all you get left with is stupid musicals which arent competetive and you dont get anything cool from doing them so all thats left is the stupid weak elite four and the even weaker alder or battle subway which gets stale very fast and boring they dont even have any cool stipulations. for those who dont have wifi i feel sorry for because they and even trade or battle anyone not in person.

i was upset with how this game turned out still a pokemon fan though not gonna let this ruin pokemons for me and i have no idea i needed to vent though %26lt;.%26lt; i guess there is only so much memory but even so other games turned out better|||That's how most games work. You complete the storyline. But I do agree with you. They have tried to do something about it but it is quite hard to come up with new stuff. For instance, D/P/Pt have the battle frontier and HG/SS have the whole kanto region afterwards. You could also try to catch 'em all, but as we know that is as possible as trying to get a cow to poo in a toilet.

Does the website playr actually work for pokemon games?

I have found out there is a website www.playr.org which you can play most pokemon games on. It also appears that you can save however I can't figure out how to save your file into your documents and you can only save on the website. Do the saves actually work when saving on the website because it seems a bit unreliable? Has anyone ever completed a pokemon game using this site?|||The only pokemon games that playr has are the original ones, which are red, blue, yellow, crystal, gold, and silver. To save, you have to create an account on the website. you don't save on the actually game screen (that is, you don't save the way you would if it were a handheld.) Once you create an account, you go to the game. On the right side of the screen, you can see a box that's titled "Your Stuff." There are two tabs there, "Controls" and "Saves." The tab is automatically set to "Controls," so you have to click "Saves," and if you did everything right, you should be able to save there! To play the game again after you've saved and quit, just log in again and go back to the "Saves" tab, and your saved game should be there.|||your best bet is to go to COOLROMS.COM then look for the Visual Boy Advanced emulator download the file if a small window opens asking you to buy the somthing or other on line close it it wont be an issue then look in the sections under ROMs download your favorite game boy, game boy color and game boy advanced games! there are tutorial videos on youtube but the process is really simple

hope this helps|||I looked at the website and It does say you can save your games....

I guess you have to log in to do it

Are there any good online Pokemon games on the internet?

See, I've gotten a little bored, so been on the search for maybe a fan made pokemon game that immitates the console games but maybe with a bit of a new story.

Thanks!|||well there are plenty of emulators and stuff if you want to play the original games but i don't believe that there are any remakes as far as i know. search for emulators and roms and you can get all the games till like DS|||Well most of them are not good. I mean you can play them, but they are not like the DS pokemon game. (they feel fake, lag, random stuff XD I know how you feel)

There is one which is exactly like pokemon games on nintendo, but its not very stable.

Pok茅mon Essentials - Is very good, everything is great. You can upload your own tiles and make maps, or download tiles and insert them in. Its not that hard to make an event, its just gonna take a bit of days to master everything. So basically saying you can create your own pokemon game on a computer and to make it look like all the games in nintendo. You can even mix things up and get many tiles, so that you have graphics (tiles) from firered %26gt; ruby and so on.

The Newer version has more fixes, but the online versions are still old.

Pok茅mon Essential online v0.5 - a bit more stable than 0.8 (still has some errors) It will take some time to figure how to use it with Hamachi so that you can play with friends.

Sorry don't have a link, just google up the name and you will find it.

Pok茅mon Essential online v0.8 - Some errors, but it works.

RPG Maker XP - Is the EDITOR tool. Well everything is easy there, making map, adding events, adding sounds. Adding spirits is also not that hard (spirits are character or pokemon images) All that will take you some days to learn. The hardest part is the SCRIPTING. For example if you want to change anything or add new stuff like adding a hamachi ip in the script so that it can connect using the hamachi ip.

Pok茅mon Essentials Wiki - To find out and to learn how to do stuff in Pok茅mon Essentials.

http://pokemonessentials.wikia.com/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Essentials_Wiki

Well i haven't tried it out in about 1 year, so some things and errors might have changed.

This is the best pokemon game you will ever find out there.

Trust me i've looked around, and nothing is better than Pok茅mon Essential.

And if you don't want to make a pokemon game for pc, then you can just download some pokemon games which other people made using RPG Maker XP and pokemon essential files. There are some very nice out there, with new stories, new scripts, pokemon walking after you, new tiles (hand made) A lot of different stuff =D

How good are the new Pokemon games, Explorers of Time and Explorers are Darkness?

I want to get either Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness. How good are these games?|||They are amazing!!! The plot has twists, it's emotional, and ALL of the Pokemon are in the game (if you search for Wonder Mail codes online for the Legendary Pokemon, but these are easy to find). I've played and beaten Time.

Items exclusive to Time are: *Vile Seed-thrown at enemies, lowers defense and special defense to 1! *Foe-Hold Orb:Afflicts all enemies on the floor with a Petrified status condition. A petrified Pokemon is incapable of action until it takes damage.

Items exclusive to Darkness are: *Violent Seed: eaten to maximize user's attack and special attack. *Foe-Seal Orb: Afflicts all enemies on the floor with a paused status condition. A paused Pokemon is temporarily incapable of action.

The Pokemon difference in Time and Darkness are:

Celebi in Time Mewtwo in Darkness

Pachirisu in Time Buneary in Darkness

Combee in Time Burmy in Darkness

Butterfree in Time Beedrill in Darkness(though you can get Weedle in Time)

I hope this information helps you choose between them if you're getting one or the other. I prefer Time because of it's exclusive items.|||i like them and im not a fan of pokemon|||Pokemon=Retarted because it's for LITTLE kids and let me think you are not exactly little right

How can i play old pokemon games on computer.?

Where can i find old games like pokemon red,Blue,Yellow for the old game boy color. I know you need a emulator and roms but where i can find one that i can trust and that is easy to set up?|||As for the emulator, the best one is Visual Boy Advanced. It's a GBA emulator but also plays GB games, like the real GBA does. Link: http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/gba鈥?/a>

As for the ROMs visit: http://romhustler.net/ or just search for the ROM you want at Google

You might need WinRAR to extract the files, search for that through the internet. Remember though that WinRAR is not free, you'll get a 40 day trial and then it will just pop up a warning that says pay for it or delete it from your pc, you can still use it though and I doubt anyone will actually care

Once you download both the ROM and Emulator, first sinstall the emulator (it's simple enough). Then extract the ROM from it's zipped folder (just right click and select Extract without Confirmation) and then open the emulator and open the extracted file to play it.

Remember that it's illegal to play the ROMs without having the original game, but again nobody's gonna search for you, that's very unlikely to happen.|||Coolroms.com has everything you need

A good emulator is VBA

1.) Download the emulator and rom of your choice

2.) Double- Click on the emulator

3.) It will prompt you that it is a zipped file and if you want it to be extracted

4.) Extract the file and do the same with the emulator

5.) Open up the emulator and click load rom and click the rom of your choice

Hope I helped some:)|||simple go to torrentz.com

type pokemon games

then pick up - All Pokemon GBA Emulator English

u have all games in it, just check whatever u want before downloading

this torrent has the emulators for gb, gba, nds also.

Why are people so amazed about pokemon games?

I keep seeing questions about pokemon in games category. What are ppl talking about? What pokemon game on what platform? Is it good?|||"What are ppl talking about?"

The Pok茅mon series consists of, in my opinion, very well made games that can last a long time. They're challenging, enjoyable, and very addictive. Their very versatile and how it is perceived depends on the person playing it. You can go through it fast and superficial (not advised), but there's also plenty of room to explore the depths of the in-game mechanics, which are very interesting to say the least. A whole new world opens once you can play online, practically making the games everlasting.

"What pokemon game on what platform?"

I've seen people on here talking about the very first games, but most of the questions here are about the new Pok茅mon Black and White Versions and to a lesser extent the Pok茅mon Platinum, Diamond, Pearl, HeartGold and Soulsilver Versions. The platform differs per game, but most people on here are either playing on Nintendo DS or computer emulators.

"Is it good?"

Good is subjective, so I suggest you find out for yourself ;-)|||I don't know why. They seem to be getting better with graphics. They've more or less kept the same old formula for the two or three series. 8 gymleaders, and 1 group bent on taking over the world bla bla, and you have to save the legendary pokemon. Once you do the Elite Four, storyline over. Nothing much more to do. So I lose interest in it, until the next one comes out. If it follows the formula expect a Pokemon Grey/brown etc to go alongside black and white.|||Dude it depends upon your age and time. It's not basically for kids Adults can also enjoy it the ratings are also good like about 7.5 or so yeah buy and play some.Enjoy

How much could i sell my pokemon games for?

i have a few Pokemon games from a long time that i haven't played in years. i have Pokemon yello, blue, crystal, and red for game boy color. i don't have the original box and the cartridges are in great condition.|||Actually, these games are no longer being made and you can't get them in most highstreet stores. Red, Blue, Yellow and Crystal you probably sell for 拢7 each, but keep them for a bit longer and they will soar up in price in a couple of years.|||Well....not much, I would say. Since the Nintendo DS came out, older Gameboy Color games have dropped in value, especially Pokemon. I could go out to EB Games, and buy a used Pokemon : Red version for about $3.|||Not many game stores take them. Gamestop won't. If you have a playtrade you could get $15 for all of them. You could sell them online but there are hundred of them, you need to have a competetive price.|||I wouldn't think you'd get that much. Not really cause they aren't good, but anyone can download these games now, PLUS there are remakes so not many people would want to buy them.

What region does Guam go under in the pokemon games?

WHat region is the pacific in the pokemon games? I wanna know when we get those incoming mystery gift pokemon but i just don't know what we are under. Can anyone answer this for me?|||Nope, Guam isn't anywhere in the Pokemon game nor is any region based off it.

You transfer not trade.

EDIT: Route 15 has a lab whick u can use the Poketransfer, you can get their when u finish the PKMN League.

Are the pokemon games and tv show episodes based off each other?

what im trying to ask is for example, in emerald kyogre and groudon fight. does this happen in a pokemon tv show episode. Is there a rayquaza and palkia and all those legendary pokemon in the games as well as in the tv show series? and do the story lines of the tv show and the games go along with each other?|||The games are made before all the other parts of the franchise (anime, manga, trading card game), and they're pretty much all based mostly on the game.

There were episodes in the anime in which Groudon and Kyogre fought; Gaining Groudon and The Scuffle of Legends.

Palkia has appeared in The Rise of Darkrai pokemon movie, and Rayquaza was in Destiny Deoxys.

Some parts of the anime that are based on the games are: the plot of getting 8 badges, the characters May Dawn being one of the playable characters in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and Diamond/Pearl/Platinum respecitvely, and Team Rocket from the original gameboy-games.

The anime, even though created after the game, was the cause for the creation of one game: Pokemon Yellow was actually based off the anime, where you could start of with a Pikachu like Ash.|||yes, there are legendary pokemon in the games as well as in the tv show series.I'm not sure but the story lines of the tv show are somewhat different from those of the games

Can you play GBA games on the Nintendo DS lite?|||--GBA--

FireRed - A remake of Pokemon Red/Blue on the Original Gameboy.

LeafGreen - A remake of Pokemon Red/Blue on the Original Gameboy.

The only difference between the two is the different Pokemon found. Good for finding more Kanto Pokemon. Starters: Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander

These are the main games on the GBA, features the newer region at the time, Hoenn.

Ruby - Able to Catch Groudon (Same as Sapphire %26amp; Emerald)

Sapphire - Able to Catch Kyogre (Same as Ruby %26amp; Emerald)

Emerald - The third of Ruby and Sapphire and Allows you to catch both Kyogre and Groudon as well as Rayquaza. Also features the Battle Frontier.

Starters: Torchic, Mudkip, Treeko

--DS--

These are the main games on the DS, features the most current region at the time, Sinnoh.

Pearl - Able to catch Palkia (Same as Diamond and almost like Platinum)

Diamond - Able to catch Dialga (Same as Pearl and almost like Platinum)

Platinum - Able to catch Giratina with the new Origin form in the new Distortion World, also features many more new Wifi features as well as Shaymin, Rotom Forms...etc

Starters: Chimchar, Turtwig, Piplup

HeartGold - Remake of Pokemon Gold on the original Gameboy. Able to catch Ho-Oh FIRST (Catch Lugia later)

SoulSilver - Remake of Pokemon Gold on the original Gameboy. Able to catch Lugia FIRST (Catch Ho-Oh later)

These two are really great games, as they just came out and they are simply amazing in my opinion. ;)

Starters: Chikorita, Totodile, Cyndaquil

So basically the DS games feature quite a bit more in conent as well as new Pokemon. There is also online features and other mini games and things that make the newer games fun.

If you like to learn more about individual features you can check out Serebii.net, its a great Pokemon site that tells you absolutely everything about the games.

Finally, yes Gameboy Advanced games do work on the DS, and DS Lite along with the PalPark Migration feature...however please note Pal Park does not work on the DSi as there is no GBA slot on the DSi.

Hope this is what you were looking for! :)|||For the GBA:

Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald - Original Generation 3 games set in the Hoenn Region

LeafGreen and FireRed - Enhanced remakes of Generation 1 games (Red and Green, the latter which was only released in Japan and was redone into Blue version for North America) with Generation 2 and 3 Pokemon included

HeartGold and SoulSilver - Enhanced remakes of Generation 2 games (Gold and Silver) that include Pokemon from Generation 1-4

Pokemon Black and White - Scheduled for release in Spring of 2011

The main differences for the newer games are more in depth ways of raising pokemon. These include Natures, Abilities, Effort Values and Individual Values. All are too deep to be described here but are detailed on Bulbapedia. Also in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, there are Pokemon contests similar to those in the show that Mae participated in.

What are the chances of pokemon games stop being made?

To be honest, I enjoyed pokemon all the way up to Platinum (And SS and HG because they are epic remakes). But honestly, pokemon Black and White are a disgrace. In the 90s, Pokemon Yellow, Red, and Blue were the best games around. Then it kept evolving. Do you think they will eventually stop Pokemon and not make new stupid games like POKEMON PINK AND PURPLE (example)?

I'm thinking no, because the graphics keep increasing.|||Haha, maybe Nintendo will stop making Pokemon games when they run out of colors and gems to use.

There are way too many Pokemon to collect already, so I doubt that the number of Pokemon will exceed the 1k mark. Pokemon games like ruby, diamond and black will eventually stop being made, but other Pokemon-related games will still be produced, like Pokemon Puzzle, Pokemon Snap, and Pokemon Stadium.|||ok, it is impossible for pokemon to stop making newer games, first of all there is so much revenue from the games, second i have been playing since the days of blue and red and am still playing strong today, cause raising training and playing is so addicting, and for the person who said when the shows end, pokemon was a game that came out way before the show even started. In 20 years i will almost guarantee that people will still be playing and going strong in the pokemon world.|||Gamefreak will stop the day the company has some type of hardship, such as a natural disaster eliminating their staff... but even then, there would be someone to continue the franchise. So as long as vgames exist, pokemon will exist.

Your use of "PINK AND PURPLE" as examples for stupid games, yet not all the previous generations, gives me the hint that one major reason that you dislike Black/White is because of the names. They're called B/W because of the Tao-energy-legends in the game, sorta like the whole yin-yang. There was nothing wrong with Red/Blue/Yellow being simplistic color names, so why must new generations resort to being named after Cubic Zirconium?

Like you said, the graphics are improving... and so are many of the other features (although at a sluggish pace.) Put the names of the game behind you, and enjoy the actual content of the game. :)|||I don't think they will stop because children will keep buying and buying the merchandise. Even if they stop making Pokemon, I'm sure they will find some way to keep kids interested.

Personally, I think they should stop making a ton of Pokemon and focus more on a new plot line or maybe a battle system where you get to directly play as your Pokemon (similar to the battle style of SSBB or Tales of Symphonia for example). :)|||I don't think they will ever stop. I played the first games 2 years after they came out and fell in love, but Platinum is where I absolutely lost all interest.

Sure, the concept and gameplay is amazing and extremely addicting, but I don't think everybody is going to love Pokemon forever, but new generations are going to keep buying and wanting.|||i doubt it will stop completely, they keep getting crazier, they might make another one once a new system comes out, and watch, its gunna be like 4D virtual reality or something, and EVERYONE is gunna wanna play it, lol|||90% if ther is a protest.

Pokemon Gold,

Pokemon Silver,

and Yellow, Gold and Silver in normal colors.

On a Game Boy Color you could also play Crystal, which is Game Boy Color Exclusive.|||Pokemon - White Version is absolutely amazing. The graphics are by far the best in the series there are now over 640 different pokemon. Also it is placed in more of a big city environment instead of forest. The pokemon are not as memorable but the new changes with the C-gear (which allows for easy access to online play) as well as no evolutions of older pokemon makes everything seem new and different. All I can say is well done gamefreak and Nintendo for making such a great game!|||Red, Blue, and Yellow. Other people here are saying Gold and Silver work, but they don't. They have similar looking cartridges, but not identical. You cannot actually insert a Gameboy Color game into the original Gameboy. If you have a Gameboy Color though, then you may play all 5 games.

Are there any pokemon games for xbox 360 that are similar to red n blue?

I used to love pokemon red, blue, and yellow for game boy. Now i'm wondering if there are any games that have the same sort of play (big map with towns, wander around and catch pokemon and have them level up, etc). Sorry i dont know the technical term for this sort of game but the more like red and blue the better. Thanks in advance!|||Pokemon is owned by nintendo. xbox 360 is not owned by nintendo, so there won't be any games for it. The techincal terms for what u were saying earlier is RPG (role playing game). If u want a game, and don't hav the console, get a rom or buy a ds|||No, pokemon games are owned by nintendo, and so only nintendo game systems have pokemon games.|||Nintendo owns the rights. But unfortunately there is no one game where you can get all of them. What pokemon games can you only play with the N64 transfer pak?

I am in the middle of purchasing a transfer pak from eBay, and I have pokemon stadium so I understand you can only play them with that game. I just need to know what colour pokemon games can i play? Only certain ones or all of them? Thanks|||The original Pokemon Stadium works with Red, Blue, and I think Yellow. Pokemon Stadium 2 allows Gold and Silver in addition, but I'm pretty sure Crystal is a no-go.

In the Pokemon games, do you transfer your already trained pokemon to your new game?

I'm getting Black and white tomorrow, and I'm not sure if I should transfer my old pokemon and start the new game with my strong pokemon from the other games, or just start normally with the new pokemon. Your opinions are greatly appreciated and will help me decide.|||You cannot use PokeTransfer until you have beaten the main story. Then you can transfer your Pokemon, but don't worry, there is still a lot of stuff to do after the main story, there's almost another story after you beat it. (However if you have those event Pokemon on to get Zorua/Zoroark or the Lock Capsule, you can transfer those using the Relocator. Go to the left building in the northern road of Castelia, talk to the scientist guy and say Everybody Happy Simple Connection, and you will have the Relocator on the main menu.)|||well, in order to transfer from 4th gen to 5th gen, you have to beat the elite four first. so you cant trade over you already trained pokemon from 4th gen. sorry.

although a loophole is that if you have a friend who can transfer pokemon you can have him/her transfer your pokemon to his/her game then trade them to you for like a patrat (the rattata of 5th gen) or something else that is useless. (it should work, i haven't tried it in 5th gen but that's what i did in my diamond)

also, no, you cant trade back and forth between generations. once a Pokemon is on a 5th gen game it can't be sent to 4th gen. whoever told you that you can is a idiot.

oh, and to answer you question in the additional details box, no i personally would not. its more fun to start from scratch.

P.S. just in case you didn't know, 4th generation games are diamond, pearl, platinum, heart gold, and soul silver.

5th generation games are black and white.|||I'm pretty sure you can't even transfer pokemon from D/P/Pt/HG/SS until the end of the game, so I'd say go with start fresh (would have been my recommendation any way. If it means anything, I would have transferred over the strong ones, but used fresh ones any way.)

-----EDIT-----

Well there are two possible scenarios to this. one positive, one negative.

-.)You can't trade in between games of different generations, you can only transfer, which can only be done post-game, and this game is no exception. While they may both be standard DS cartridges, you cannot trade in between, or else there would exist the risk of putting a 5th gen pokemon onto a 4th gen game... one that does not recognize 5th gen pokemon, making this impossible, meaning you have to wait until post-game to transfer the pokemon from D/P/Pt/HG/SS onto B/W unless...

+.) You have either a friend with a copy of Black and/or White completed all the way through, or you yourself have one. If this scenario is true, you could transfer the pokemon from the 4th gen game onto the B/W that is completed and has access to professor Park's Lab, then after that is completed, trade the newly transferred pokemon from the completed B/W cartridge onto the new cartridge via standard trading (although, I would do this but still start with new pokemon.)|||I don't think your allowed to untill you finish the game, but if I had the choice I would train the new weak pokemon first untill they were the same level as the strong ones and then use the ones from both games. If you started the game using your strong pokemon then it would just be too easy when your surrounded by level 2s and 3s etc. and the game could get boring. Plus if you see a rare pokemon you want, you might not be able to catch it becuase you'd just end up killing it if it needs to be weakened. Train the new pokemon first.|||Yes, the others are right. You can transfer from your other games into your Black and White game, but you need to finish the main story, that's after defeating the Elite 4 for the first time. Since you're gonna trade from and to different regions, you're gonna PokeShift them. You cannot return your Pokemon you shifted already. If you wanna know hoe to transfer, watch this video --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5njXc02M…|||As others have said you can not transfer pokemon to black and white from the older games until you have at least finished the story. Also when you do transfer the pokemon its permanent, you can not transfer them back to the older games.|||You can't transfer poekmon from another game until you've completed the metagame.

Hope it helped.|||you can't trade pokemon from 2 different generations!|||pokemon is way old and they should just stop i mean what they r on like game 13 for hand helds its just embarrassing now red blue and yellow ftw silver and gold too but after that it was all down hill i mean its the same pathetic game play as the original game boy just with a few new things oo u can have 3v3 battles thats a massive jump in the past 20 years

What other pokemon games can I get to get more pokemon?

Aside from the main games like Diamond/ Pearl, Soulsilver/Heartgold or Black/White, what other games can I get more pokemon from? For example, I know if I get Pokemon Ranger and complete a quest to get a Manaphy egg. I just wanted to know if any other spin off pokemon games could do this? Thanks!|||pokemon Heart Gold or Soul Silver because you have 2 regions and also pokemon black or white because when you beat the game you can catch other region pokemon or on route 15 you can migrate from other pokemon ds games.|||Pokemon Platinum is awesome! I bought diamond and platinum, knowing barely anything about 4th generation Pokemon. I have played many different Pokemon games over the years and noticed which ones are better than others. Encountering Pokemon Platinum was a totally new experience for me as I had been waiting forever to know what this game was, how it was, and I was practically dying to see the pokemon firsthand. Beginning the game I loved how it unfolded the story into the new world of pokemon in the Sinnoh region as you encounter the new people and then the new pokemon. Although this game is technically an expanded version of diamond and pearl, it is also filled with so much more.|||With Ranger you can do what I did. Buy a second hand copy and hope they completed the main story and didn't erase their save. That way you can enter the password thing do the mission for the egg and transfer it without having to go through the whole story first.

POKeMON GAMES???

okay im so confused on what pokemon game to buy for nintendo ds In pearl are you able to play as a pokemon trainer or can you do that in all anyways which is the best one??|||They are actually the same thing and you can play as a pok茅mon trainer in all the pok茅mon games but the mystery dungeon series, i personally would recommend diamond beacuase dialga is slightly better than palkia and he looks cooler ;) google them both if you havn't seen what they look like!|||i have diamond and i love it!!!!! it is like pearl but has a better legendary

i hope this helps|||They are pretty much the same, But I like diamond because dialga is so much cutier then plukia ;) You as a Pokemon trainer will get to be dawn in the series DandP (if you choose to be a girl on you game)|||Diamond and Pearl are the same. There is no "best one". You always play as a Pokemon Trainer (except in Mystery Dungeon games).|||I know that in rescue your pokemon|||Well the differences are that in Diamond some pokemon will appear in different places than in Pearl. Or may be more common to find than in Pearl, but the same holds true for Pearl. Also, the legendary Pokemon that you get to capture will be different. Diamond has Dialga and Peal has Palkia both of whom are shown on the front boxart.

Asides from those differences both games play the same, and yes, you do play as a pokemon trainer (who you can choose as either a boy or a girl)|||Most Pokemon games come in generations, which is a group of them. Games within the same generation are very similar, the only differences are the Pokemon that you can get in them. However, different generations are very different from each other. Here are the generations.

1st - Red/Blue/Yellow

2nd - Gold/Silver/Crystal

3rd - Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - Also Fire Red and Leaf Green(Remakes of Red and Blue)

4th - Diamond/Pearl/Platinum(Not released yet)

But I reccomend Crystal version if you can find it. Gold and Silver if you can't find Crystal.

Personally, it is way better. There x2 more Gyms than other Pokemon generations. It also has harder to obtain legendaries(Legit ones anyways) from the second generation in other games, because Gold, Silver, and Crystal are nearly extinct versions, and Leaf Green and Fire Red are fresh and keep the 1st generation Pokemon trade alive.

There are also the Mystery Dungeon series, which include:

3rd - Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team

4th - Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness

Only minor differences of Pokemon. These games you play as a Pokemon yourself, and you go do missions to get money and sometimes collect more Pokemon. In these games, you don't need to trade Pokemon, and you can obtain every Pokemon in existance without trading or cheating.|||In pearl and diamond like all other pokemon games (except dungeon)are able to play as a pokemon trainer..i personally think they are both cool.

POKEMON GAMES????????

Ok, I would like to say, PLEASE DO NOT SAY THESE GAMES ARE CRAP, or POKEMON? ARE YOU 4?

Ok, I have pokemon Diamond and Pearl, and i am about to buy Pokemon PLATIMUM, Platinum has the 2 games combined, therefore, i can get all pokemon WITHOUT having to repedidly trade.

I am also going to get Fire Red and Leaf green, but before i do, i need to know, IS THERE ANOTHER GAME LIKE PLATINUM, EXEPT FOR FIRE RED AND LEAF GREEN, HEART GOLD OR SOUL SILVER???

I am in the process of getting Emerald.|||Firstly, you wont be able to complete your pokedex fully just by having the games. You'll need the event pokemon or an action replay. There was no combination game for fire red and leaf green and there will not be for heart gold and soul silver. I dont know why you bothered asking about heart gold and soul silver as they aren't out for a long time yet, although they woulds contribute to completing your dex. If you need a certain pokemon send me your friend code or whatever and i'll send you it. I have a full dex all 493.|||Platinum does not include ALL of the pokemon from Diamond and Pearl. All the legendary pokemon are included, but there are some pokemon that are exclusive to the Diamond or Pearl edition. Here is a link that shows what pokemon are in what game. Maybe it will help. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/V鈥?/a>|||You should get Ruby and Sapphire too, because in emerald you can choose either latios or latias, not both. I don't know if they still have them at retailers or not so you might have to get them at gamestop or ebay, amazon, etc.|||Well so far there has always been a third pokemon game for each region (Not including remakes). Red, blue, YELLOW. Gold, Silver, CRYSTAL. Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald. Diamond, pearl, PLATINUM.

I can't wait for Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLb49BQZq鈥?/a>|||Platinum doesn't contain all the Pokemon of Sinnoh, and there is no third-set game for FireRed/LeafGreen.

POKEMON GAMEs!!!!!?

Is there any pokemon games where you dont come across pokemon as often as you do in the Gold version? Its so time consuming and annoying. Please help!|||no|||they make it so u dont get bored and win easily in the pokemon league but its not making it easiar to win

u can lvl up ur pokemon with the monsters and u can capture them to finsih pokedex|||pokemon emerald or leaf green or fire red or gamecube pokemon coloseum that you have to find trainers and steel there dark pokemon and purify them =D|||You could try one of the spin off games, like Pokemon: Mystery dungeon: blue/red rescue team or the Pokemon: ranger game, they focus allot less on pokemon battles.|||Are you talking about random battles? I've played Pearl, and yeah, there's a lot of those and it's incredibly annoying. Repels, buy lots of em!|||well no there isn't except maybe pokemon ranger or pokemon rescue team. If your looking for a gold version type game then your out of luck... thats whats fun about pokemon is being able to catch pokemon... if you hate it that much though then you should buy tons of max repels, or even regular repels... i do that all the time... keeps the wild pokemon away|||You could try Pokemon Colosseum. It's an ok game. The story of Pokemon Changes but you get some good pokemon and you can transport them to Pearl and Diamond. You have to transport them to Ruby or and of the GBA pokemon games and then to Pearl or Diamond.

Hope I helped.

Pokemon games?

are there other any "not well known" pokemon games such as pokemon green for gameboy?|||Yes. Pokemon green was a japanese only version (it was called blue stateside)

There was also a game called Pokemon pinball.

There most unknown is the TCG game. It didn't sell well and focused on the cards from the first few expansions packs. There was a sequel made in Japan but it was never released outside of Japan.|||Yes there are old pokemon games that used to be well known but now they airnt well known and these games are pokemon green(the one you mentioned), pokemon blue, yellow and the old pokemon pinball.|||yes there are many not well know pokemon games for the gamboy

such as pokemon red, green, blue, yellow, pokemon pinball, and pokemon silver and gold|||yeah, pokemon blue yellow and red arn't very known. there is also a video game about the pokemon trading card game but I can't remember what its called. and theres a weird version of tetris with jhoto series pokemon I think its called "super pokemon blocks" or something. there is a pokemon green but that is very old and only in china (or japan)

Pokemon Games?

Are there any pokemon games that have the pokemon Cyndaquil in it that you could possibly get as a beginner pokemon or you could possibly catch later in the game? If I have a original gameboy gold or silver pokemon game, could I migrate it to my pokemon game that I have on Nintendo DS?|||You cannot migrate or transfer any pokemon from Gold, Silver or Crystal to ANY of the newer generation games. I think you can maybe get them on Emerald, but I know you can get them from either Pokemon Colliseum or XD for the Gamecube by snagging the second evolutions in-game or completing Mount Battle from start to finish without quitting, although if you save there you can turn off your game and then resume your progress.|||Only if u have a ds because heart gold and soulsilver u can get cyndaguil

|||The game you can get cyndaquil as a beginner pokemon is gold, silver, and crystal version.

I am not sure about the migrating, my friend will try this he is a pokemon wiz. good luck!|||Easy way (starter pokemon) : gold, crystal, silver

Hard way (finish hoenn dex) : Emerald only|||pokemon dimaond you can get Cyndaquil in the nationel dex.|||you cannot transfer regular gameboy games to ds unless u have an adapter witch is about $10|||pokemon the silver version|||you posses those pokemon from ruby and saphire|||sapphire, and ruby|||no you couldnt cuz the ds doesnt hold gamboy games..i hate that...

Anyway, I have only been playing for 3 days and already have all 8 badges with only my Blazeiken. That chicken rocks!

As far as new the new versions, They are going to be called Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, with the two main pokemon this time (like Groudon and Kroygre of Ruby and Saphire) having control of space and time! How flippin' cool is that!

It's out in Japan come this September but no set date has been released for the North American shore release date. Probably Mar-Apr. of '07 is my guess.|||Here if want to play all pokemon games download them on computer like this u aint spending money for Diamond and Pearl you need to download the the DS (NO$GBA) the romsite.com
