Is pokemon Diamond and Pearl good compared to the old pokemon games?

I loved the old pokemon games and show but as of late both have gone by the wayside (especially the show) And I was wondering if there are any long time pokemon fans out there that have an opinion on the new game?|||Yeah man, ive been playing since R/B/Y and i still love it. It's great because all the original pokemon from those games are in these ones, plus some new ones for a total of 493 pokemon. theres all new attacks and moves and the pokemon sprites are animated too!|||diamond a pearl look more 3d with the buildings there are gts features and wi-fi wich is really good|||diamond is really good compared to the old games


espesialy if u use wifi and batlle people around the world|||its pretty good
