Shiny Pokemons are good! Catch them! But they're not different than other pokemons. Not stronger than normal, or anything like that. Just different color :P But they're so rare, though! It's like 1 out of 8191 chances.

The difference is color. They aren't likely to be in any way different statistically, it is still as random as it ever was, however there are rumors of shinies tending to have a higher chance of getting a neutral nature. They are mainly a status symbol, seeing as the chances of encountering one are something like 1 in 8192. 1. shiny pokemon have different color
2. shiny pokemon are stronger and
3. shiny pokemon have more life than normal pokemon (ex. lvl.100 gyrados life:300, lvl 100 shiny gyrados life:400)

Shiny pokemon are rare, differently colored pokemon. They are in no way more powerful, and are used more as collectors items and bragging rights then anything else.
Shiny's just have different color imagine having a black charizard.

When you trade a shiny 1 any1 would give u a high lv pokemon for them!
there is no strength difference usually, its just that the shiny pokemon are different colors and are a very rare find.
