Is Jigglypuff any better in the later Pokemon games?

I have Pokemon Crystal, and Jigglypuff is my favourite Pokemon, although it's kind of weak. In the later games (the DS games, preferably), is Jigglypuff better or worse?Is Jigglypuff any better in the later Pokemon games?
Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff both got new toys (aka moves) to play with in the new generation of Pokemon. I have a soft spot for the pink diva and I can honestly say that you won't be disappointed.
