Is there any way I can get Pokemon from my Ruby game onto the newer games?

I have a few Pokemon on my Ruby and Leaf Game pokemon games that I would like to have on the newer games like Diamond, Soul Silver, or White. Is there any way I can do this?Is there any way I can get Pokemon from my Ruby game onto the newer games?
In Diamond and SoulSilver you can use the Pal Parks! And in White you use the poketransfer lab. Except you can't directly transfer the gba pokemon to white. You have to transfer them using the pal parks in your other games first by using the migrate option in the beginning menu on your games and then transferring the pokemon from soulsilver and diamond to white with another ds.

You can only do this after you've gotten the national pokedex though.

Okay so im a little rusty because I haven't done that since 2007 ^-^' first i think it depends if you have a DS/DS lite or a DSi. Correct me if im wrong, i cant really remember, but if you have a DS/DS lite you put your GBA game into the GBA slot and use pal park (on pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver) although for pokemon Black/White i think you have you have to use pal park in the games mentioned before and migrate them from pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver to Black or White. DSis dont have a GBA slot just to point out %26gt;w%26lt; If you dont understand or if im wrong just google it :)Is there any way I can get Pokemon from my Ruby game onto the newer games?
