Firstly, it's illegal. Nevertheless, I shall tell you the whole procedure. GBA - Gameboy Advance.



1. Google "Pokemon Game Name" ex.Pokemon Ruby, Pokemon Sapphire. etc. and then add the word "ROM" after it.

2. Download the rom, for gba, it's normally a few mb's.

3. Get an emulator. Now an emulator is something you use to open the ROM file. In other words, it's like the console Gameboy and such. If you want a gba emulator (for gba games), I suggest googling Visual Boy Advance. Its the best emulator there is for GBA Games.

4. Open your emulator and click on file, open, and then open the GBA Rom file you downloaded, such as Pokemon Ruby for example.

5. Start Playing!

6. If you want to play Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, they are for DS and therefore you need to download the ROM (obviously) and get a DS Emulator, that is No$Gba Emulator.



These are the steps. Put it in other words, the ROM file is the game itself. And the emulator is a program to "open" the game and thus letting you play it. You can also set the control options at the options menu while playing. Note that this is all illegal. Enjoy =)
